The Cooking Gene Blog Starts Monday

“I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia, the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit together at the table of brotherhood.”–Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

So I have received a lot of response for my current big project linking food and the history of my family and my journey to explore that link….The Cooking Gene is going to get launched as a separate WordPress blog starting on Monday.  For the sake of convenience both blogs will link to Michael W. Twitty on Facebook and koshersoul on Twitter.  Our Indiegogo crowd-funding campaign will be launched on February 1, 2012.  If you would like to contact me personally about getting involved with The Cooking Gene: Southern Discomfort Tour, please feel free to contact me at thecookinggene@gmail.com.  If you would like to know more about the project, please  click on this link:  https://afroculinaria.com/2012/01/10/the-cooking-gene-project-frequently-asked-questions/  .
