Hi Michael, I just saw 12 Years A Slave and was intrigued by the meal of berries, roast meat and some kind of bread. Was that meal historically correct?

It was a catch as catch can meal…salt pork. Cornbread and molasses with a few wild berries or fruit…yep pretty accurate!
