This just came out on Morning Edition on NPR. My friend, reporter Erika Beras interviewed me on top of Jefferson’s mountain after my Mulberry Row presentation at the 10th annual Heritage Harvest Festival.  95 degrees in period clothing-owww!

Enjoy!! (And share.)

This is a beautiful piece. I’ll be glad when I can come see you live someday.

I would love for you to come or for us to visit you in action. I teach middle school and want my kids to get out and explore the value of food. Combining a field trip that explores food and history makes me really excited. Please get in touch so that we can make concrete plans.

  3. Thank you for all you do. Frances Gillette Hern was my 4th great aunt. I sooo wanted to be there to see your work, but was on call where I work. I am hoping that you will return to Monticello, so that we can share in this experience next year.

  4. Hello, just discovered your blog through the NPR article. Could you tell me about that campfire grill you had the rabbit on?
