Love your posts..My daddys family originated in Alabam , Lowndes Cty, and he grewup in Oklahoma. My moama roots are Jewish with seven hudred yeaers of ancestors in Hungary. I love this blog and what a great article from The Historical Epicurean. You’re right about the mainstream narrative. The information on deaths by fire of enslaved women alone is worth the read. More Americans need to know these facts.
